Our Story

Founders Forum For Good was borne from the idea that successful digital entrepreneurs have a responsibility to give skills, resources, and time to ensure that the not-for-profit sector thrives and grows.

Martha Lane Fox and Dafna Ciechanover Bonas recognised this and created FFFG to ensure that social impact was in every digital entepreneur’s sights.

We provide the means by which commercial enterprises can give skills, resources, and time to support their NFP peers and the NGOs already working to make a difference.

We work year round to showcase, celebrate and support the most inspiring social entrepreneurs through mentoring, partnership initiatives, communications, events and funding.

We believe digital technologies can positively disrupt how we tackle social and environmental challenges and that successful entrepreneurs have the skills, resources and time to help the digital non-profit sector flourish.

Launched in June 2013, Founders Forum For Good builds on the unique capabilities within Founders Forum, the community for the best global entrepreneurs, established eight years ago.

Our Work

The majority of our work falls into three key streams: First, we showcase, celebrate, and support inspiring social and environmental entrepreneurs who use technology for good.

Second, we catalyse and facilitate partnerships between members of the greater Founders Forum community and up-and-coming social pioneers.

Third, we spur founder participation and encourage more young entrepreneurs to take on the challenge of tackling social problems by changing the conversation through communications and PR.

Bitesized Insights

Bitesized Insights are a collection of 3-6 minute long video conversations with experienced digital entrepreneurs, from both the for-profit and social sector, as well as NGO rising stars.

The content ranges from anecdotes, to prudent advice, to discussing the future of bicycle safety technology. Ultimately, it is really up to the individual and the message they want to share.

The collection so far includes contributions from Sir Richard Branson, Shakil Khan, Ian Livingstone, and Baroness Lane-Fox, among others.

Here is an introduction to the videos.
